Hire
For the job, not forever.
A build, a move, or a season of storage is usually simpler to hire than to own. The container comes to your site and we collect it when you are finished. Short or long, the same yards.
Container Hire & Sales
10ft through 40ft, standard and high cube, plus open-side, double door, reefer, flat rack, and site offices. Delivered and placed anytime, anywhere throughout the Waikato, Auckland & Bay of Plenty regions.

Hire
A build, a move, or a season of storage is usually simpler to hire than to own. The container comes to your site and we collect it when you are finished. Short or long, the same yards.
Sale
New and one-trip when the container will be seen. Used grades when it only has to be dry and secure. See it at the yard, or we will send photos before it leaves.
The range
Sizes below are the usual external measurements for that class, so you can compare. The models stand in until the photographs are shot. The actual unit is confirmed before it moves.

General purpose
2.7–3.5 × 2.44 × 2.59 m · 14–20 m³
Half the length of a 20ft, with the height of a full container. The right box when the yard is tight or the load is small. Length is cut to suit the site, usually between 2.7 m and 3.5 m. It still locks, still moves, and still keeps the weather out.

General purpose
6.058 × 2.438 × 2.591 m · 33.1 m³
The everyday container. Freight, a site store, or a house lot. New A-grade 20ft units are part of what we keep for hire and for sale.

High cube
Same footprint, about 300 mm taller · about 37 m³
The extra height takes bulky goods and gives you room to stand and work inside. A three-bedroom house move will usually fit.

General purpose
12.19 × 2.44 × 2.59 m
About twice the floor of a 20ft. For stock, plant, or a store that has outgrown the smaller box.

High cube
12.192 × 2.438 × 2.896 m · 76.2 m³
The largest of the closed boxes. High volume, and tall enough for goods that will not clear a standard roof.

Side access
20ft and 40ft, including high cube
The long side opens as well as the end doors. Forklifts, long lengths, and pallets come out without being dragged the length of the box.

Doors both ends
20ft and 40ft
Cargo doors at both ends, so the container can be worked from either direction. Useful when it has to sit hard against a fence or a building.

Chilled and frozen
20ft and 20ft high cube · −25°C to +20°C
An insulated box with the refrigeration unit in the front wall. A working unit holds between −25°C and +20°C and is generally kept to a food-grade interior. It is checked before it is relied on. Hamilton can also power a reefer that needs a temperature check while it sits in the yard. A non-operational unit is the same insulated box with the machine off, for goods that only need a steadier temperature.

Open bed
Reinforced base, end walls only
No roof and no long sides. Built for machinery, timber, vehicles, and anything that will not go inside a closed container.

Site office
20ft and 40ft
A personnel door and windows in a container that can still be carted to the next site. A portable office, not a shed you have to leave behind.
Condition
Every container is looked at before it goes out. Wind and water tight units have a sound floor, steel doors, and a lock box. Price follows age, grade, and any modification.
01
Clean, and the one to choose when the container will be seen. Includes new A-grade 20ft units.
02
Still fit to go back to sea. The working container for freight as well as storage.
03
Dry and sound, with the dents and repairs of years in service. The usual buy when looks come second.
04
When a perfect seal and a tidy face are not the point, and the price needs to be the lowest.
Where it sits
Most containers are delivered and set down where you need them, with our own trucks. A house, a farm, or a building site.
If the box should stay secure in Hamilton or Tauranga instead, it can sit in the yard and be sent when you want it. Full or empty.
How it works
Step 01
What is going in, how long you need it, and where it has to sit.
Step 02
Size, type, and grade. Photos before it leaves, or a look at the yard, if you want to see it first.
Step 03
Our own trucks set it down. You are not waiting on a separate carrier.
Step 04
A hired container is collected when you are finished. A purchased one is yours.
Open tops, dangerous-goods boxes, and the very small 6–9ft units turn up in the trade. Tell us the job. If we can source it, we will. If we cannot, we will say so.
